The precinct known as Brickworks South is located in Brolga Avenue and delivers a wide range of fitness activities, beauty and more recently welcomed one of Queensland’s most awarded vegetarian cafe/restaurants, Cardamom Pod.
The two-year plan for a health and wellbeing precinct has resulted in new tenants including Cardamom Pod, Pride Physiotherapy, Essence of Living Yoga & Pilates and Divine Goddess which support the existing active and beauty tenants Snap Fitness, Bike Bug and London Clinic.
Leonie Smith, Smith Commercial said she developed the new precinct’s retail mix to provide a large range of wellness and fitness options to complement the lifestyle offer of the Brickworks Centre. The 8 tenancies leased to date have been strategically placed in 1,285m2 of the Brickworks South precinct. A spin cycling group is also under offer to lease 320m2, which will complete the 1,600m2 precinct.
The Source bulk food has also recently arrived in the Ferry Road Market, which forms part of the Brickworks Centre. From the initial enquiry, the new arrival waited over 3 years to be part of the market as all spaces have been tightly held with the same operators for almost 10 years.
The Centre also recently welcomed Eyeconic Optometrists and Brickworks Medical, located next door to Teeth on Ferry and Chemist Warehouse. RY.COM Australia’s largest beauty online store also joined the centre in their first Bricks and Mortar store.
Ms Smith said in fewer than 2 years she had leased 2,430m2 of retail space in the centre including corporates Miele and more recently with co-agent Josh Wright of Cushman Wakefield, the McGrath Real Estate’s new corporate centre both located on Ferry Road.
